When Kristine* first came to Fitted for Work, she was under-employed and struggling financially due to the limited available shifts in her role.
She told us she was working part-time at a footwear company, but her true passion was advertising.
Kristine* attended our Job Preparation Hub to help her update her resume and hone her interview skills. She then attended our Personal Outfitting Service, where she received several beautiful outfits that were professional and suitable for advertising roles. Kristine* told us that she had found it hard to know how best to present herself professionally to potential employers.
Kristine* described the increase in her confidence leading up to her interviews. The interview preparation and Outfitting made her feel “on top of things” in a way that she had not previously.
After about three months of working with Fitted for Work, Kristine* secured a job with an advertising agency. Kristine believes Fitted for Work was “one of the main reasons” she was able to get the job and was so appreciative of the staff and volunteers who helped her.
She loves her new role and is excited to be working within an organisation with lots of potential for professional growth.
