When you choose to donate clothing to Fitted for Work you are giving more than just clothes, you’re giving hope. We are so grateful to each of you for sharing your gently worn and fiercely loved clothing with our clients.

For many women, the first step to getting work is simply having a suitable outfit to wear to job interviews. Our Personal Outfitting service (currently run virtually) provides one-on-one styling to ensure clients receive an outfit that supports them to look and feel their absolute best. Your donation can help women and gender diverse jobseekers put their best foot (and new pre-loved shoes) forward into the world of work.

Thank you for donating mindfully

Thousands of women go through our outfitting service every year, so the clothing donations we receive are incredibly valuable. Unfortunately, sorting and disposing of unwearable clothing costs us time and money that could be going towards supporting our clients.

Our golden rules
~ If you wouldn’t wear it to work tomorrow, our clients wouldn’t either.
~ If the donation parcel is difficult for you to carry it will be difficult for our volunteers.
Please pack your parcels in smaller bags at under 5kg each.
Want to add a little something extra to your donation?

Why not place a little note inside one of the pockets to encourage the women who will be wearing your outfit to a job interview!
