I came into Fitted for Work today to share my good news and was happy to see that one of the volunteers who helped me was also in:
I immigrated from Macedonia in October 2016. I was referred to Fitted for Work by a Macedonian Association and attended their Multicultural Women’s Hub in November last year. I was assisted through multiple appointments with my resume and application for call centre roles (the volunteer helped translate everything into English).
I secured an interview for a role and after a fitting and interview practice at Fitted for Work I got the job!
My advice to all the women out there is: don’t give up, don’t lose hope, keep trying and use your initiative.
