La Trobe Speech Clinic Workshop

For the Latrobe Voice Clinic Workshop, Fitted for Work partnered with the team at La Trobe University in Bundoora. Together, we work to provide voice training for individuals wishing to explore the different ways they can use their voice and communication to express their gender. The program also provides preventative and rehabilitative services for people with voice disorders. We work in collaboration together to offer you short workshops or time to learn about your voice and communication.

We’ll cover a number of things in the session that include a basic understanding of how we produce voice, voice care, voice training, voice exercises and information and voice surgery. If you’re interested in exploring the workshop to help benefit your employment opportunities or your work life, we are here to support you.

  • Leah was fantastic! Her comments were really helpful. I was able to make amendments to my resume and have how secured a job as a document controller. This is the job I was hoping for, and Leah was just so helpful. I also got to revamp my cover letter. I start on Monday!

    Client Feedback

  • I just moved from Townsville and don’t have much of a network, so I felt very empowered when I came in today and it was nice to have some connection. The ladies are awesome, incredible and they make people feel good about themselves which is a big thing.

  • As I was new to the country, your professional insights and support was very much appreciated toward understanding local systems and expectations. I learned a lot of things such as how to use the right words, punctuation and presentation. The resume format and the cover letter was so helpful and now I know how to edit my own resume and cover letter better than before!
