A: A great pair of well cut trousers, designer sneakers and a shirt.

Q: Why do you think it is important to back your sisters this International Women’s Day?

Q: What is your top trick for boosting confidence before a big meeting/ audition/ interview?
A: Don’t wear something brand new as I think it shows and you may appear uncomfortable. Wear something tried and tested that you love and makes you feel confident.

Q: Why do you think it is important to back your sisters this International Women’s Day?
A: Without women and our sisterhood, we are doomed to walk the earth alone. If change is to happen, we have to do it together. Plus, my favourite people are women.

A: Remembering who you are, where you’ve come from, how hard you’ve worked and how much more you have to give. And don’t forget to smile.

Paula Joye –

Q: What type of outfit helps you feel most confident and ‘fitted for work’?

A:  My mantra is: dress for the job you want, not the job you have. Clothes can transport and transform. They are armour when you need strength, gumption and joy. My fall back outfit is a tailored black suit with a white silk blouse, a good watch and very high heels. It pulls me together even when mentally, I may not be.

Q: What is your ‘go to’ versatile outfit essential that you can style with anything?

A:  Classic trench or car coat. A great coat can work over trousers and a blouse, extend the life span of a summer dress and dress up jeans on the weekend. Oh…and it will also revolutionise you gym outfit.

Q: Why do you think it is important to back your sisters this International Women’s Day?

A: Women supporting women is as powerful as it gets. It also doesn’t happen enough. Stand together and for each other. Always. Not just one day each year.

Q: What is your top trick for boosting confidence before a big meeting/ audition/ interview?

A: Prepare. And then prepare again. Confidence comes from hard work.  Know your subject, read the room, do your job. Leave yourself plenty of time. Lateness will bring you unstuck every time. Have a theme song and play it on your head as you walk down the corridor to your destiny. Like Beyoncé.
