Board Leadership Transition Announcement
We are pleased to announce a significant leadership transition at Fitted for Work. After a dedicated 9.5 year tenure on the Fitted for Work board, the last two of which have been as Chair, Wendy Stops will be retiring from the Board, effective from April 15th.
The Board and staff of Fitted for Work extend our deepest gratitude for her unwavering dedication and impactful contributions over the years. From Wendy’s early help with risk management, governance and technology, through to her invaluable introductions to key corporates, which have now become long term and pivotal partners of Fitted for Work. In recent times as Chair, her efforts towards helping shape our new strategy and achieving financial sustainability and independence have set a strong foundation for our future growth and success. We extend our deepest thanks for her contributions and wish her well in her other current and future board endeavours. Importantly though, Wendy will stay connected to Fitted for Work as she takes up the role as the Chair of the Fitted for Work Foundation once the fund is established mid-year. The Foundation will build and oversee the Fitted for Work Future Fund, a substantial future endowment where distributions benefit Fitted for Work.
The Board is delighted to announce Launa Inman as the new Chair of Fitted for Work. Launa brings a wealth of experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors and will lead a fresh perspective to drive Fitted for Work’s strategy forward.
Launa is a professional and experienced Non-Executive Director who has served on many ASX-listed company Boards, including CBA and Super Retail Group, as well as not-for-profits such as the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. In addition to joining the Fitted for Work board in mid 2024, she currently holds positions on the Australia Post Board and is Chair of the Melbourne Fashion Festival. In her executive life, her career included CEO/Managing Director roles at Target Australia, Billabong International, and Officeworks. Notably, during her executive career Launa was awarded the Telstra Australian Businesswoman of the Year Award and the Sir Charles McGrath Award for her contributions to marketing and wider industry advancement.
Please join us in thanking Wendy for her exceptional leadership and in welcoming Launa to her new role as Chair.
