Drives for clothes

Throughout Term 2, Ruby arranged for notices to go into the school newsletter.

She set up a small stall each morning for a few weeks, taking in clothing collection

And it had the effect of capturing a lot of imaginations of fellow students and parents….there was a lot of clothes!

Ruby and her proud Dad, Stephen, dropped off the pre-loved clothes to Conscious Closet at QV on Saturday September 16 for the Fitted for Work Clients.

They took this jubilant photo on the day.

Ashburton Primary School student, Ruby, and her inspirational teacher Courtney Simon, reached out to Fitted for Work earlier this year to run a clothing drive.

Their efforts have been inspirational and on behalf of our clients, thank you so much for your care and dedication!!

We look forward to seeing Ruby grow into an amazing young woman.

And with an inspirational teacher like Courtney Simon guiding Ruby and many others, we have great faith that our next generation of leaders are on their way!
